| I'm married. |
[Jul. 20th, 2009|11:40 am] |
We arrived in Vegas at around 2 pm on Tuesday, and ran around the city a lot that night, a good deal the second day, got married the second day, and ran around the city a lot on Thursday and had dinner with Zerodot. It was very cool. Also, I didn't realize all the pictures were this big - hey, sorry! I spent a long time posting these. I'm posting them rather than just linking to the photobucket because I HATE PHOTOBUCKET. Here's a link to the actual album, with 539 pictures.
( A ton of big pictures. )
It was a ton of fun, but I'm so glad to be home. It was SO FREAKING HOT. Oh my god. Even at midnight I was sweating buckets. We wore ourselves out every night(from walking! geez), so it's nice be back home, MARRIED, and relax.Okay I'm done. |

Her words were alabaster, her movements graceful and pure. She flitted about the stage like a butterfly, and from the back row, I fell in love. Posted via LiveJournal.app. |

In an attempt to keep writing, I just sat down and started typing. This took about a half hour, because I always go back and correct things without allowing myself to move forward. I'm trying to get better.
( Two short paragraphs, ugh. )
Just postin, don't really expect replies. |

I've got
a taste on my tongue of love and life, loss and lust
and butterflies
there's a scar on this heart six syllables long, four syllables wide; the new cut is deeper and the wound is still fresh
(something new)
my mind is reeling my body shakes I can't see straight I'm half awake
And all I can blame
is the butterflies. |

| The Color Chronicals: A Coversation Without Words (an unfinished classic) |
[Mar. 25th, 2009|01:22 pm] |
They were the colors yellow, blue, and red, and they were dancing on the walls of the empty classroom. They illuminated the dark. The lights drew my attention away from the unfamiliar combination of the smell of chalk at midnight and the taste of her lips. Suddenly, I knew it was all over. I knew it was all over long before I heard the sirens.
I had just experienced my last real kiss.
From behind her calm and collected mask, I could see those green eyes show a hint of panic. It was subtle, her ability to hide her wince and tuck away her fear, but I was always good at reading her face. That was how we got into this trouble.
The best night of my life.
I wanted to scream at her, "I'm sorry, I didn't want this! I'm sorry this happened!", but my vocal cords were shot. The sirens roared my apology for me.
She stood up and extended her hand down to me. I just stared at her. Her face was illuminated by the beautiful red, blue, and yellow, each chasing the others in an endless circle about the room and her eyes. I was lost.
She chuckled, lifted me up, and smiled sadly. We clasped hands and I pecked her on her cheek. Her face flushed. I fogot the pain of it all, for a moment.
The best night of my life. The sirens roared my apology.
We walked out of the door together. |

Oh, by the way, to those who don't know:
I've finshed the short story I've been working on for a while. It's here, at namelesscecil. I backdated it to keep it from flooding friends pages.
It's long, but I like it. Comment if you happen to read it. |

Alright, so, Prom happened.
If you wanna read about it, click the below cut tag. Just be warned in it's length, that's a little over four pages in Microsoft Word, size 10 font.
I don't know much more to say except, sorry for those of you that read it. It's horribly written.

"It's like you go to the beach, and you go down to the water... it's a little cold, so you're not sure if you wanna get in. There's a pretty girl standing next to you, she doesn't wanna go in either, and she sees you. And you know if you just asked her her name, you would leave with her. Forget your life, whoever you came with... just leave the beach with her.
And after that day, you remember. Not everyday - maybe every week - she comes back to you. A memory of another life you could have had.
... today is that girl." |
